About Dr. Ralph Sharow

Award-winning dental practitioner Dr. Ralph Sharow currently manages and provides treatment through his private practice, Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, which has offices in both Nashville and Cool Springs, Tennessee. Dr. Ralph J. Sharow opened the doors to Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 1987, shortly after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completing a residency at major medical centers in Central New Jersey. Currently, Dr. Ralph Sharow works alongside his son Kyle, a U.S. Army veteran and dentist-in-training, and a team of experienced dental professionals to deliver quality, patient-oriented oral healthcare to adults, adolescents, and children.

Dr. Sharow served in the United States Marine Corps before pursuing a career in dentistry. The recipient of an undergraduate degree in the natural sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Ralph J. Sharow enrolled in his alma mater’s College of Dental Medicine in 1982. Over the following five years he excelled in his studies, earning a student fellowship-teaching award for his work instructing clinical pediatric dentistry. Upon graduating with his DMD, Dr. Sharow received awards of recognition from the New Jersey Society of Dentistry for Children and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Sharow was also named as one of the top dentists practicing in the United States in 2009 and 2012.

Today, Dr. Sharow and his staff at Family & Cosmetic Dentistry treat dental conditions and offer a variety of services to patients, whether they are children or adults, within a modern and relaxing office environment.
